I wake up every morning at nine and grab for the morning paper. Then I look at the obituary page. If my name is not on it, I get up.- Benjamin Franklin
Do people really wake up and write down their first thought? Mine was starting a load of laundry because I have been neglecting to do the load a day and I am getting quite a mountain. So it was more of the first action to do while the next was get that cup of Joe. Do any of you write down your first thought? I am listening.

I usually don’t, unless I had a dream that I wanted to follow-up on. Then, I will jot down a few points and go back later to try and piece the dream together and ponder the meaning.
Yes, I could see a dream, especially if you are pondering the meaning.

Nope. I do not write anything down, ever. I have thoughts, and actions to start my day, but writing down thoughts… not so much.
I usually do the same but thinking maybe I should do some ever note ideas and jobs in the morning to keep me better on track.
I actually use my WordPress app to jot down any sudden blog ideas in a draft message then revisit it later. Let’s just say I have 8 drafts waiting to be finished… :/
Good idea for using wordpress!

Love the honest post! I’m struggling with this one, as my usual first thoughts are 1) I have to pee and 2) I am hungry….no one wants to read about that.
I most likely thought those too and they did not register as a thought although I am not usually hungry when I get up..
